Dr Steve Bassi

Dr Bassi qualified from the University of London in 1993, and after five years of general professional training completed the Royal College Fellowship in Dental Surgery examination in 1998. In 1999 Dr Bassi enrolled on a five-year specialist registrar training programme in restorative dentistry which was completed in January 2004. During this time he also carried out research for which he was awarded the Master of Dental Science research degree with distinction. The period of specialist training allowed Dr Bassi to acquire extensive experience in all aspects of restorative dentistry, including prosthodontics, implantology, and periodontics on which he has lectured and published widely.

He is now a Consultant in restorative dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital, Honorary Clinical Associate Professor of University College London and an examiner for the Membership in Implant Dentistry and Membership in Periodontology at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr Bassi lectures and provides clinical training to postgraduate students and NHS trainees, as well as other dental practitioners.

Dr Bassi is on the specialist lists for Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry. He has a caring and relaxing approach to patient care and strives to use his extensive knowledge and experience in providing high quality dentistry in complex situations.
